I’m Jing Conan Wang, dedicated to empowering the next generation of entrepreneurs. I’m the creator of DeepVista AI, a ‘Founder OS’ designed to be as simple as a notepad but as capable as a co-founder.

I also co-founded FounderCoHo (https://foundercoho.com) — a community of over 160,000 founders who believe in the power of shared stories and collective insight..

From early 2022 to 2024, I co-founded and served as founding CTO of Storytell.ai, using LLMs to turn unstructured data into actionable insights. I founded it on the insight that LLMs help humans distill signals from noise through conversations — a concept later popularized by ChatGPT.

From 2018 to 2019, I was a Senior Research Engineer at Google Brain, where I applied reinforcement learning to align human preferences with large language models (LLMs). My innovations directly enhanced core Google products, including YouTube and Google Ads.

Prior to that, from 2014 to 2017, I focused on advancing AI capabilities for Google Ads Recommendations. Collectively, my work at Google contributed to over $2 billion in revenue impact.

I have a Ph.D. from Boston University and B.E. from Huazhong University of Science and Technology.

I have strong mathematical modeling background with contest awards (MCM Honorable Mention 2009, CUMCM second prize 2009) and extensive research experience. I participated in Google Summer of Code 2012, mentored in 2013, and was a Microsoft Young Fellow finalist in 2009.
